Dr. Scott Koningswood is a performance-based physical therapist who recognizes the continuum of acute rehabilitation to high level sports performance. With a comprehensive, evidence-based approach to optimizing human movement, he helps to facilitate maximal function by addressing underlying biomechanical and neurophysiological patterns that contribute to inefficient movement in order to achieve individualized performance goals. Scott is a Hawthorne, NJ native who participated in a variety of sports from the youth to varsity level including football, baseball, hockey, basketball, and soccer. After being recruited to play Division I college football, and ultimately deciding to focus on academics, Scott received his BS in Kinesiology & Exercise Science from The University of Rhode Island. He then earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Worcester, MA. When he’s not in the clinic, Scott enjoys playing the drums, saxophone, and harmonica as well as taking his dog, Callie, to the park.
