Standing Pilates with Kim – 1 PM

This introductory class provides a great opportunity to try a new concept in Pilates.

Standing Pilates follows the same basic principles as traditional Pilates, but performed in standing positions.
We will work on balance, breathing, posture and weight bearing exercises to improve core strength and
create longer leaner muscles.

Please bring 1 or 2 lb. weights to class.

Julie Finkel

Yoga Instructor

Through out Julie’s studies of yoga, dance, and anatomy, she has gained a unique understanding of the importance of a personal practice. In her group classes she encourages her students to explore the asanas and teaches in a way where everyone’s individual needs are met. Her goal is for each student to cultivate freedom in their breath and body so that they have the ability to live life freely.

She has studied extensively at New York Yoga, Yoga Sutra, Lila Wellness, Alvin Ailey American Dance Center and the Institue for Integrative Nutrition.. She is a certified yoga teacher and also has certifications in kids and prenatal yoga. Julie is excited to bring her upbeat vinyasa yoga style to The Studio!

Kim Mihov

Instructor

Kim Mihov has been active in the fitness field in Bergen County for the past nine years. She has a passion for working with people to help them develop a better quality of life and reach their fitness goals.
She is ACE certified and also holds certifications in Senior Group Fitness, Pilates and Delay The Disease for people with Parkinson’s Disease.
